By participating in the Rocktop Elite AAU program, all players, parents, and guardians agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Participation & Eligibility

  • Participation in Rocktop Elite events, practices, and travel is voluntary. Athletes and families are responsible for understanding and accepting all terms prior to participation.

  • Rocktop Elite reserves the right to remove any player from the program for violations of team rules, poor conduct, or actions deemed detrimental to the team culture or mission.

2. Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Liability

  • Participation in AAU basketball includes risks of injury or illness. By participating, families waive Rocktop Elite, its staff, partners, and affiliates of all liability for injuries, accidents, or illnesses incurred during practices, games, travel, or other team-related activities.

  • This includes, but is not limited to, physical injury, transportation accidents, hotel incidents, and exposure to illness.

3. Medical Authorization

  • In the event of an emergency, Rocktop Elite staff are authorized to act in the best interest of the athlete, including seeking emergency medical attention. Families are responsible for all medical costs incurred.

4. Travel & Lodging Disclaimer

  • Rocktop Elite may coordinate team travel and hotel blocks. Participation in team travel is optional and at the family’s discretion.

  • Rocktop Elite is not liable for any issues or incidents related to travel, lodging, or third-party transportation services, including but not limited to damage, delays, cancellations, or misconduct.

5. Advertising, Media, and Promotion

  • By joining Rocktop Elite, players and families grant permission for the use of photos, video, highlights, and personal likeness in promotional materials, social media, team websites, and other marketing efforts.

  • Rocktop Elite may use game footage, team content, and promotional material for branding, recruiting visibility, and advertising purposes without compensation.

6. No Guarantee of College Scholarships or Exposure

  • Rocktop Elite is committed to player development and providing exposure opportunities, but makes no promises, guarantees, or assurances regarding college recruitment, scholarships, or level of play.

  • Exposure is a byproduct of performance, timing, and opportunity, and Rocktop Elite is not responsible for individual recruiting outcomes.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

  • All payments are final. No refunds will be issued for missed practices, games, injury, or early withdrawal.

  • In the event of unforeseen cancellations due to weather, illness, or facility issues, Rocktop Elite will make every effort to reschedule but is not obligated to provide refunds or prorated fees.

8. Code of Conduct

  • All players and families are expected to uphold the values of Rocktop Elite. Disrespect, poor sportsmanship, or negative behavior toward staff, officials, teammates, or opponents may result in suspension or removal.

  • Parents must respect team staff decisions, game strategies, and player roles. Coaching from the stands is strongly discouraged.
